Yesterday night I went to The Reykjavík City Theatre and saw a play called "Híbýli vindanna". It tells us the story of the Icelandic settlement in Canada in the years 1870-1914. It shows us the hardships and disappointments of the emigrants, but also tells us about their hopes, aspiration and achievements. The play is an adaptation from the novels "Híbýli vindanna/Where the Winds Dwell" and "Lífsins tré/Tree of Life " by writer
Böðvar Guðmundsson
A Great performance!
