Dave & Stu's Fear and Loathing in Reykjavík, 2005: Don´t drink the Sulfur Water!

As I still have not managed to find out how to post comments on your blog:
I was reading your blog and came across this sentence:

"I'm feeling bad about the sulfur water...definitely need to keep my mouth shut, smile and comment on how clean it is."

You´re NOT supposed to drink that HOT sulfur water!

Here is what you do: You "unscrew" the COLD water tap (often with a
BLUE mark on it), let the water run for about 3-5 min., then you let it pour into a glass and you have a nice, icecold, clean and refreshing drink for FREE (a rare thing in Iceland, and I guess, in other tourist-places of the world as well!)
Here is some Icelandic water that you can buy!

Still, as you need to use the hot "sulfur water" when you take a bath, I will admit that it smells awful...but then there are shops where you can buy some nice bath-things...

Thanks for the tip, but I sorta figured that out already. Point is, the first few days we were here our hotel room (at Hotel Fron!) stunk of sulfur for hours. We could even taste it some when cold. But now we are desensitized to it. Lucky us!
