O.K whooopy !! you found 2 whole sites with traditional dress, not exactly a renaissance ,now is it ?? Seriously though the new site does have some great examples. i guess i'm more familiar with older Viking type dress, but these are interesting also. Greenland certainly has some colorful clothing ! i guess to make up for the relatively barren landscape. i've read some historians believe that Leif named it Greenland in some sort of false advertisement scam to bring in more settlers from Iceland .

That´s what we were told at school. And at the same time that Hrafnaflóki (The raven guy of tangled hair, or something) thought my island was so besutiful that he wanted to keep it all to himself and his folks, thus named it by the uninviting name of Iceland! ;)
