In Iceland we had the coldest month of May for 12 years, with a high hovering above Greenland for most of the month. Half of the flowers that I so very optimistically put outside on the pavement to my front door around the middle of the month are dead now, it was simply too cold. It´s a wonder though how bushes and flowers are coming out, especially since we have had almost no rain either.
Today we only have about 10°C. I sure hope it will be getting warmer soon.
