Happy Diwali!
Maybe I should have remembered something about these festivities from my time in Tanzania, where there exists quite a large Indian community, but obviously I didn´t; certainly that was just 20 years ago!*Bréf frá Tanzaníu/Letters from Tanzania-Icelandic

Oh you still remember Deewali... thats very nice of you.
Happy Deewali to you as well. May your heart open up to the Divine Light.
A happy deewali to you. You have a wonderful site. I had only read about Deewali once a long time ago and it was hidden in the back of mind. Thank you for your reminder.
Have a nice day and evening
Dave
I have never heard of this before thanks for the insight
Greta. I was reading your previous post I didn't realize
you could draw, why don't you post some of your sketches, i would love to see them.
You learning about India and me knowing about Iceland. This give and take makes the world a better place.
Sadiq, Dave, Johnny and Soumadip, thanks. I appreciate very much that you take time to read and comment on my blog.
Johnny, I put two things in that post that I can do but don´t do a lot. I was even wondering wheather to put them there for that very reason.
I´m a very slow knitter, even though the result is usually quite nice.
I used to draw a lot as a kid, but after I grew up I haven´t done much about this ability, I´m sorry to say and to the disappointment of some. So I don´t think I have any sketches that I would like to publish. But maybe I´ll sometime in near future try and get rid of my block and get myself going at this, now that I´m truly "quite" grown-up!
